The piece originally started with a piece named
“The Black Pearl” started by ~
Slackmania – which was basically inspired by the film
Pirates of the Caribbean and was a simple homemade orb made in some 3D program (was like half a year ago now) and a sunset scene made in Photoshop7.

aeonart brought the piece to life with his meteor/comet antics and excellent brushing in Photohop7, giving a near effect of what you see now. The pair collaborated back and forth exchanging ideas on and off for months – and now it’s finished.
